Dec. 22nd, 2010 05:42 pmWorking now, until February or thereabouts, but the downside is, I have practically no time from the time I get back from work until I go back out again, unless the weather's particularly bad and I opt to stay in.
Also, the day I started work (the 2nd), I came home to find that my laptop wasn't booting up fully. Again. This time it took me almost two weeks to get it fixed and I bought Sophie's friend John a bottle of whiskey as a thank you for fixing this piece of crap for the second time in almost as many months. So from last Thursday I've been happily basking in having it back again.

I have pathetically little to say actually from all that time I was away except that I have got to get an external hard drive or a portable or something to stop me freaking about my writing getting wiped again. This time was particularly bad because the NaNo I was working on along with another large origfic wasn't backed up online like a large portion of the rest of my stuff. Erk.
Played a lot of Last Remnant, both xbox and PC. Got pretty much most of the quests done before Nest of Eagles on xbox, although I'm a bit pissed that my unions suck mystic arts-wise, the extreme opposite of my first (interrupted) playthrough. A la PC, I... have just started to do side quests for the first time and I'm loving the fact that I can put as many 'leaders' as I like into my unions already.
Lost Odyssey was picked up again and I managed to get past Mega-Ultra Chicken in less than three tries >.> So I'm back at the Grand Staff base now and soon off to face the Electric Worms again. -sigh-
Not picked up PSP or DS in what probably amounts to months now though, although now I don't really feel as though I have the time, especially not before Christmas. But I have two days off next week and then New Year's weekend, there's a bank holiday so you never know.
Presents are wrapped, almost everyone has been bought for and now all that's left to do is work tomorrow and then tidying the house on Christmas Eve before the evening party at future-in-laws'. 8Db
